Imaginer is shaking things up with AI image generation on your Linux desktop. It's super easy to use and brings the power of AI right to your fingertips. Whether you're looking to whip up a stunning piece of art or just have some fun, Imaginer has you covered!
This app comes from 0xMRTT, the same folks behind Bavarder, a ChatGPT client for Linux. Just like Bavarder, Imaginer sports a modern design with its user-friendly interface built using Libadwaita and GTK4.
The best part? You're not stuck with just one service! Imaginer supports a bunch of different AI image generation services. Some of the options include Open AI, Stable Diffusion, Analog Diffusion, Anything, Nitro Diffusion, Open Journey, Portrait Plus, and Waifu Diffusion. Pretty cool, right?
You can easily install Imaginer from Flathub, or if you're feeling adventurous, you can build it from scratch by checking out the instructions on their Codeberg repository.
To get started creating your own AI-generated images, all you need to do is enter your desired text prompts in the Prompt field. There's even an option for a negative prompt—this is where you specify what you don't want in your image. For example, if you want to avoid "low quality" art styles or other specifics.
If you're into AI tech and want to see some amazing image generation in action, then Imaginer is definitely worth trying out! With its sleek design and easy access to multiple services, it makes getting creative on Linux so much simpler!
