Java Access Bridge FOR LINUX is a crucial module for GNOME users that bridges the accessibility support in Java Swing applications to the GNOME Accessibility framework via the Assistive Technology Service Provider Interface (AT-SPI).

Installation Instructions:



  1. Obtain the bridge via CVS checkout or distribution tarfile.

  3. Run make to build gnome-java-access.tar.

  4. Run make install to complete the installation process.

  5. Ensure CORBA traffic over IP is enabled in your GNOME 2 installation.

  6. Modify Java runtime environment to include necessary components.
