Description

Klavier

Klavier is a cool virtual keyboard designed for KDE. This keyboard looks just like the real thing you’d find in your country, making it super easy to use.

How to Compile Klavier

If you're looking to get started with Klavier, here's the easiest way to compile this package:

Step 1: Configure Your System

First off, you'll want to cd into the directory where the package's source code is stored. Once you’re there, type ./configure. This step sets everything up for your system. If you’re using csh on an older version of System V, just type sh ./configure. This way, csh won’t try to run configure.

Please Wait!

You might need to be patient while it runs. It takes a bit of time and will show some messages about what features it’s checking for.

Step 2: Compile It!

The next step is simple! Just type make. This command compiles the package.

Step 3: Install Klavier

If everything looks good, go ahead and install it by typing make install. This will set up the programs along with any data files and documentation.

Step 4: Clean Up

If you want to tidy things up afterwards, type make clean. This removes program binaries and object files from your source code directory.
