KParts Plugin
KParts Plugin is a cool tool that adds some nice features for Netscape-compatible browsers in a Unix setup. This plugin uses KDE's KParts technology, which helps you embed file viewers—like PDF readers—right into non-KDE browsers. Viewing Files Made Easy
With this plugin, you can easily view PDF files in Firefox using Okular as an embedded viewer. No need to switch between apps; everything is right there for you!
Installation Details
The default installation directory for the plugin is /usr/lib/nsbrowser/plugins/. If you want to change where it's installed, just modify the PLUGIN_INSTALL_DIR variable in the CMakeLists.txt file located in the kpartsplugin folder.
Supported File Types
Depending on what types of files you want to view, here are some options:
- Okular: Use this to view PDF and PostScript files.
