KVirtual FOR LINUX
KVirtual is a KDE4 GUI-frontend for kvm/qemu emulators, providing a fast and easy way to configure a virtual host. While not all kvm options are currently supported, the app is continuously improving.
Features:
- Memory size configuration
- Number of CPU selection
- USB Support
- Snapshot capability
- Boot device customization
- Display options: none, direct (sdl), vnc with configurable port (host is localhost)
- Video card settings
- Keyboard preferences
- Storage choices: file (create new qcow2 image) and type (disk, cdrom, floppy)
- Iface configurations: model, connection type (none, tap, or vde), hardware address, up and down script for tap
Installation Instructions:
To install KVirtual, follow these steps:
- cd
- mkdir build
- cd build
- cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=$KDEDIRS -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=RelWithDebInfo ..
