What is Liar Liar FOR LINUX?

LiarLiar

LiarLiar is a cool tool for voice stress analysis. This software helps you figure out if someone might be feeling stressed by listening to their voice. Why does this matter? Well, when stress levels go up, it can sometimes mean that a person isn’t being completely honest.

What You Need to Use LiarLiar

Requirements:

  • GTK+ version 2.4.x

  • An older version of GStreamer (if you're tech-savvy, maybe you can update it to a newer version)

  • Important: After you finish installing, you'll need to move the plugins from the .\/plugins\/.libs folder to the ~\/.liarliar\/plugins\/ folder yourself. This part isn't automated yet but should be in the next release.

  • The volume slider feature isn't ready yet.

  • Sometimes, the GUI might freeze and not show updates correctly, especially on slower machines.

  • If you're using ESD output, make sure to hit the stop button when your audio stream ends since it won’t clear completely.

  • Your settings won't save automatically.

  • You’ll have to create that plugins directory manually as mentioned above!

What's New in This Release?

This latest version has fixed some threading problems on slower machines and made the default Microtremor plugin more accurate. So if you've had issues before, this update should help!
