Creating Your Own Desktop Environment:

With LXSession, users have the flexibility to create their custom desktop environments by specifying the applications they want to launch, including window managers and other components. This feature allows users to personalize their desktop environment according to their preferences.

Default LXDE Configuration:

LXSession comes with a set of configuration files that provide a default desktop environment called LXDE. By choosing LXDE in GDM, KDM, or executing startlxde in xinitrc, users can launch LXDE with icewm (window manager), pcmanfm (file manager), and lxpanel (desktop panel).

Configurable Session Launch:

Users can explore the file system to understand how LXSession functions, particularly the files defining the default LXDE session. Through editing and duplicating these files, users can create and launch their custom desktop sessions with personalized configurations.
