Mousam
Mousam is one of those weather apps that really feels at home on my computer. It's built with Python and uses GTK/Libadwaita, making it super similar to the weather apps we all love on our mobile phones.
Design and User Experience
What I really love about Mousam is how well it fits into GNOME desktops. Everything you need is right there, looking sharp and organized. The app shows you real-time info like temperature, humidity levels, wind speed, UV index, pressure, and so much more. Each stat comes with cool icons that make everything easier to read.
Forecast Features
If you're curious about the future weather, Mousam has your back! It displays a handy 7-day forecast along with a detailed hourly forecast for the next 24 hours. It’s almost like having a mini weather station right on your desktop!
User-Friendly Layout
The layout of Mousam is clear and easy to navigate. Sure, there’s a lot of information packed in there, but it’s all laid out nicely so you won’t feel overwhelmed. You can check the forecast in either metric or imperial units too!
Customization Options
But let’s talk about customization for a second. While it's great that you can switch between measurement systems, I wish they offered more options. A dark mode would be awesome! Also, better integration into the top bar would make it even cooler.
A Great Weather App for Linux Users
The GUI design really shines here! Even though it could use some extra tweaks in customization options, I still enjoyed using Mousam as it is. Overall, it's a neat little weather app that fits perfectly on Linux desktops—especially if you’re rocking GNOME.
