Description

MyEnTunnel

MyEnTunnel is a neat tool that helps you keep your SSH tunnels running smoothly. What’s cool about it is that it works right from your system tray as a Windows service. It uses the Plink (PuTTY Link) application to make sure your tunnels are always alive and kicking. If there’s ever a connection drop or if the server restarts, MyEnTunnel jumps in to restart everything, so your TCP and SSH tunnels just work without a hitch.

Easy on Resources

You might think that keeping those connections alive could be a resource hog, but MyEnTunnel does its job without causing any fuss. It even has a “Slow Polling” option to help save on resource use! The interface is super simple and organized, too. You’ve got one main window split into four tabs: Status, Settings, Tunnels, and License.

Status and Customization

The Status tab gives you all the info you need about your connections—their creation date and time, plus ports and forwarding details. To customize MyEnTunnel for your needs, you’ll just need to fill in some info about the server setup. This includes the server address, port number, your login details, and options for private keys or logging.

Managing Your SSH Tunnels

In the Tunnels section, managing your SSH tunnels is easy! You can manually enter them here. Just remember to follow the correct syntax—no worries though; it shows you how right below the text box! At the bottom of the main interface window are some handy controls that let you connect to the server or minimize it to your system tray.

Color-Coded Connection Status

MyEnTunnel uses a straightforward color code for its system tray icon: Green means everything's good with your SSH connection; Yellow indicates it's trying to reconnect; Red shows there’s an error stopping the connection. It's pretty easy to understand!

Your Trusty Companion

Overall, MyEnTunnel excels at keeping TCP and SSH connections alive—that’s its main job! It’s simple yet clever, making it a reliable buddy when you're working through secure encrypted tunnels. If this sounds like something that fits into your daily tasks (or even nightly ones), then check out MyEnTunnel. You're just clicks away from getting this handy app!
