Nepheton is seriously cool when it comes to capturing all those little details and nuances of instrument sounds. It’s designed with awesome controls that let you tweak the sound just how you like it. Flexible Output Configuration

This software has a super flexible output setup. You can route every instrument's audio signal to any of the 17 outputs! This means you can shape your sounds individually or in groups using your favorite plug-ins. Plus, each output can be set to mono or stereo, so you have lots of options.

Mute, Solo & Activity LED Features

If you're an 808 fan, you'll love that we’ve included an original trigger output, which is also configurable. Each instrument has a Mute button that doesn’t just silence the sound; it stops the sound from being triggered altogether. The Solo button lets you play only your selected sound(s) while muting everything else.

Extensive MIDI Control

Nepheton provides extensive MIDI control too! You can use MIDI notes to trigger each sound or go for the internal sequencer. It’s super handy because you can sync it perfectly with your host sequencer or let it run on its own clock.

Easy Automation and Reassignment

Most parameters in Nepheton are easy to automate within your host software, plus they can be controlled using MIDI CC with an external controller. There’s even a Midi Learn function that lets you reassign any parameter quickly!

Internal Sequencer Patterns

The internal sequencer has two banks of patterns: simple and extended. You get 16 extended patterns and 96 simple ones! Both types can be edited traditionally with step buttons or by using the tap function.

Simple vs Extended Patterns

In Host Mode, simple patterns have a MIDI note number assigned for each location, giving you flexibility in how they're played. Extended patterns are more complex with four segments (variation A/B and part 1/2), divided into Basic Patterns and Intro/Fill InPatterns.

Randomizer Function for Creativity Boosts

You’ll also find a Randomizer function in the sequencer! This feature helps make quick changes to existing patterns or even create new ones, perfect when you're looking for some creative inspiration! You can easily adjust how often randomizing happens on specific instruments.

XML File Storage

Nepheton keeps all external files in XML format, making sharing between users super easy! You can edit these files in a text editor too — ideal if you want to post something online!
