The configuration panel of Netkill is nice and compact. You can easily check your current connectivity status, cut off your Internet with one click, or bring it back just as quickly.

Create Your Own Monitoring List

You can even make a list of specific processes to monitor (just separate them by commas). That way, whenever those apps are running, Netkill will automatically cut off the connection. When they stop? The Internet comes back on! Pretty neat, right?

Startup Feature and Testing

By default, Netkill will run automatically when Windows starts up, but you have the option to turn this off if you prefer.

We tested how well it worked at cutting off our connection manually—and guess what? No issues at all! There were no error messages or crashes during our tests. However, we did notice that the automated process monitoring didn’t work perfectly for us after creating that list.

User Experience Notes
