OS-Uninstaller is a free, open-source application that makes it super easy to uninstall Linux operating systems. It’s built using GTK+, which gives it a nice graphical interface.
This tool is really straightforward. With just one click, you can cleanly uninstall any Linux system you’ve installed before. Plus, it works with any Linux distribution, and even Windows and Mac OS X!
Here’s the catch: right now, OS-Uninstaller is only available for Ubuntu Linux. If you're using Ubuntu and want to get this handy tool, follow these steps:
First, open your Terminal by pressing Ctrl+Alt+T. Then, type in this command:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:yannubuntu/boot-repair
Hit Enter and then enter this next command:
sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get install -y os-uninstaller && os-uninstaller
After pressing Enter again, you’re all set! You can find OS-Uninstaller in the System -> Administration menu if you're using GNOME. If you’re on Unity, just look for it in the Unity Dash.
