Ping Tools Plus

Ping Tools Plus is a super handy network utility that helps you check if a host on an IP network is reachable. It does this by estimating how fast data moves between your computer and a specific URL.

What is Ping?

A ping is basically software used to manage networks. It tests whether a web address or IP network can be accessed and measures how long it takes for data to travel back and forth between your computer and another one.

Testing Your Network

With Ping Tools Plus, you can easily test your network and see the ping response time for multiple URLs. Just keep in mind that it can't check connections to specific IPs.

Create Your Own List

This tool lets you make a list of web addresses, so you can record pings for all of them at once! It can also tell you if a connection times out or if there are errors, plus it calculates the ping response time.

Color-Coded Responses

The software uses color coding to show each row based on the network's response time. If the row is green, that means fast responses! But if it’s red, watch out—your connection might be slow or even time out!

Custom Response Times

The default ping response times are set between 60 ms (which is considered fast) and 200 ms (where things start getting slow). You can change these values according to what works best for you, along with adjusting the highlight colors.

Select Your Ping Check Rate

You have control over how often checks happen too! You can pick rates from 100 up to 90,000 milliseconds. And if any connections time out, you'll get an alert. Plus, you can export your ping results into a text file or spreadsheet!

A Lightweight Tool

Ping Tools Plus is designed to continuously check the ping response times from one or more addresses. You’ll be able to monitor responses from different websites, check the status of your current connection to selected URLs, and get notified when something goes wrong.
