PixiVisor FOR MAC
PixiVisor is a free and cross-platform desktop application that enables you to perform audio-visual experiments through a retro GUI.
PixiVisor consists of two modules: the Transmitter and the Receiver. The first can convert videos (10 FPS animations or static 64x64 images) to sound pixel by pixel. The Transmitter enables you to send the signal to the receiving devices and to listen to the sound of your image.
The Receiver can convert the sound that was received from the line-in input or microphone back to the video. The videos can be recorded to an animated GIF, and you can also set its color palette.
PixiVisor can be used, for instance, to transmit video signals via an audio cable, allowing you to change the signal using mixers or FX processors.
