Description
Poddr
So, have you heard about Poddr? It's a cool open-source app that helps you manage your podcasts right from your desktop. With so many awesome podcasts available these days, it's no wonder there are tons of podcast clients popping up. Even the big names in podcasting are jumping on board!
Easy to Use Interface
Poddr has a simple and modern design that makes it pretty easy to navigate. You can find content using iTunes RSS feeds, which is neat! Plus, it’s got some handy features for searching and filtering. Want to find podcasts by country or genre? No problem! The most popular ones even show up in the main panel.
Search Functionality
If you're looking for something specific, Poddr's search function lets you hunt down podcasts with keywords. Once you discover a podcast that catches your eye, just add it to your favorites for quick access later!
Selecting Episodes
When you pick a podcast, all its episodes pop up on the right-hand side of the screen. You can easily choose which episode to play. Just keep in mind that there’s no way to sort them from oldest to newest—so get ready for some scrolling!
Missing Features
A couple of things could really make Poddr better though. For one, it doesn’t automatically play the next episode when one finishes. It also doesn’t remember which episodes you've already listened to, so you'll need to keep track yourself! Skipping forward or back between episodes isn't possible either.
User-Friendly Experience
The user interface is pretty intuitive and customizable too! However, it would be super helpful if you could minimize Poddr to the system tray while enjoying your favorite podcast.
Final Thoughts
In summary, Poddr can definitely be useful if you're on the lookout for a desktop podcast client. But honestly? It's not the best option out there right now. With its limited features and some usability issues, you might want to explore other choices as well.

Poddr's simple design and search function make it easy to find podcasts, but lack of sorting options and episode tracking hinder user experience.
