PTP Track Hound

Easy Installation

This software is a breeze to install on your computer. You don’t need to be a tech wizard; just follow the simple steps in the wizard-based installer. Just remember, it needs WinPcap installed on your system to work properly.

User-Friendly Interface

When you fire up PTP Track Hound, you'll notice its user interface is pretty straightforward and easy to navigate, though it doesn’t look super modern. The main window is divided into four sections, which makes things organized.

Messages Section

The upper left corner shows the Messages section where you can see all the captured PTP entries. You can even filter these messages by protocol, domain, type, and device source! It’s really handy for digging deep into the data.

Message Details Tile

If you look a bit lower, there’s the Message Details tile. This feature allows you to analyze all PTP messages in detail with a cool hover-on-demand highlighting system that makes it so easy to understand what you're looking at.

Devices Area

Over on the upper right side of the main window is where you'll find the Devices area. This shows all the devices detected on your network in an organized way. Right underneath that is the Events section, which helps you discover new devices and lets you know when any device changes state.
