QaMoose FOR LINUX Details
QaMoose is a free software designed to provide access to an Arabic/English user-defined dictionary using the DICT protocol. It was created to offer consistent content to support Arabeyes' translators and technical writers.
Key Features of QaMoose:
- Two modes of operation:
- Interface to a DICT server for public queries
- Interface to suggest and approve terms locally
- All code is UTF-8 friendly
- Virtual keyboard for typing Arabic
Requirements:
- MySQL 3.23.26 or later
- Perl 5.6.1 or later
Download the package to your local machine and modify dict_header.pl with your information to customize the software. Make sure MySQL is available on your local machine for proper functioning.
Ensure to log out and then run dict_main.cgi in your browser to access QaMoose's features seamlessly.
