Description
RogueScanner
RogueScanner is a handy open-source tool that helps you find any rogue wireless devices on your network. This way, you can kick them out and keep your sensitive info safe!
Easy Installation and User-Friendly Interface
Once you install it, you'll see a clean and well-organized window that makes using RogueScanner super simple. No complicated menus or confusing buttons here!
Select Your Network Settings
When you're ready to start scanning, just pick the network adapter you want to use. You'll need to enter the IP address and subnet mask too. And if you're using a wireless adapter, make sure to check that option.
Scan Results at a Glance
After starting the scan, RogueScanner gets to work automatically! It shows you all the found devices along with their IP and MAC addresses. Plus, you'll see details like the vendor and model of each device.
Status Overview
The top part of your screen displays important stats about your scan. You can check how many addresses have been scanned, how many devices were found, active threads running, and pending probes waiting for responses.
No Export Options Yet
A little downside? You can't copy the list of wireless devices to your Clipboard or export it as a file (like TXT or HTML) for later use. That would definitely make things easier!
User-Friendly Performance
The best part is that RogueScanner doesn't hog up your CPU or system memory while it runs. So, no worries about it slowing down other programs or causing crashes! Even though it's been a while since any updates came out for this tool, it still does its job well when it comes to spotting those sneaky wireless devices in your network.
If you're looking for an efficient way to keep your network secure from unwanted guests, give RogueScanner a try!
