RWanIP is a handy tool for Windows that helps you keep track of your WAN IP address. It can be set up as a service, which means it runs in the background to save your IP info to a local file or even upload it via FTP. This makes it super easy to check your WAN details from anywhere in the world!

Easy Setup and Autorun Features

When you install RWanIP, you have options! You can choose to make it run automatically when Windows starts, or you can turn that feature off if you'd prefer. If FTP is your main goal, you can also set it up as a service just for that.

Accessing Your IP Information

Once RWanIP is running, you'll see an icon in your system tray. It won't bother you with pop-ups, but if you hover over the icon, you'll find out your external IP address along with the current date and time. Want to copy that info? Just right-click the icon! You can easily update or copy your IP address directly from there.

User-Friendly Configuration Panel

If you're curious about how to change settings, just click on the tray icon! This opens up a configuration panel where you can set the default source for getting your WAN IP address. You can also pick where on your hard drive you want to save this info and even decide how often it updates (in minutes).

FTP Upload Options Made Simple

If uploading your IP file to an FTP server sounds good, RWanIP lets you set that up too! You just need to enter the server name, remote path, and filename along with your username and password. Plus, there's an option to enable or disable passive FTP mode for transfers.

Check Your Stats Easily

You can also check stats related to the last update time, current IP address, and status right from this area.
