Getting Started with Stat Manager

To use the app, you'll need to have the .NET Framework installed on your computer. The interface is modern and super easy to navigate. It has a well-organized menu with options like File, Teams, Games, Reports, and Tools. Plus, there's a standard toolbar filled with all the essential commands you'll want to use.

Player and Team Information

This software stores basic info about each player and coach. You can also keep details about opponents, fields, practices, and games. The stats are categorized into hitting, pitching, and fielding sections which you can sort or filter based on various criteria.

Main Options to Choose From

When you fire up the application, you'll see three main choices: access the last used database, pick an existing file or create a new one from scratch. Stat Manager remembers where you left off by saving the name and location of your last opened database.

Adding Team Members

If there aren't any players or coaches in the list yet, no worries! You can add them one by one without any limits. Just fill in their name, address, state, birthdate, plus optional notes if you want. The 'Team Leaders' screen shows who the top athletes are in your current group arranged by categories.

Manage Your Team's Lineup

You can easily include or change details about fields, divisions, and practices for your team. The 'Lineup' feature lets you plan out who plays in each match along with their positions on the field.

Create Detailed Reports

The reports section is super useful! You can generate summaries based on different criteria like batting stats or game lineups. These reports can be viewed in table form and even exported as XLS or PDF files.
