Easy Data Input with Templates

One of the best things about Steward is how easy it makes data entry. It comes with prebuilt table templates that help you get started quickly. Plus, if you have information saved in CSV or TSV files, you can import that too!

With Steward, you’ll find templates for just about everything. Whether you're managing passwords, personal collections, documents, or even your movie library and wine collection—there's a template for it! Just pick one and start adding your records.

Customizable Fields

You can create a new table using any template and fill it with as many records as you want. Steward supports nine different field types so you can mix and match: text, number, image, date and time, attachment, rating, checkbox, choice, or website links.

Exporting Your Data

If you ever need to take your data elsewhere, no worries! Steward lets you export records from any table into CSV or TSV files. Just remember—you can only export one table at a time.

Backup Made Easy

Your data is important! That's why Steward offers backup options using its own format. You can restore backups anytime you need them. You can even set up automatic backups in the Preferences window or do them manually whenever you'd like.

Database Management Features

The Preferences section also gives you quick access to your database location and its size. Need more space? Steward allows you to optimize your database file easily! You can also choose how many automatic backups to keep.

Store Everything Safely

With Steward on your side, creating a comprehensive database is a breeze! Keep notes, home inventories, documents—you name it! Just keep in mind that the user interface isn’t password protected yet. So be careful about what sensitive info you choose to store.
