What is SystemXInfo FOR LINUX?

SystemXInfo

SystemXInfo is a cool theme for Karamba, and it needs SuperKaramba version 0.37 or higher to work. This software shows you a bunch of useful information right on your desktop!

What Does SystemXInfo Display?

With SystemXInfo, you can see:

• Kernel and KDE versions


• CPU Model + Clock speed (in MHz)


• A graph showing CPU performance


• CPU & Case temperature


• Ethernet connection stats


• WiFi connection stats


• RAM & Swap usage


• Status of 3 partitions


• Your system's uptime and the current date

Who Can Use It?

This theme works best for systems that have one Ethernet connection and one WiFi connection up and running. For example, my Linux setup is using SuSE 10.0 with KDE 3.5.1.

Tweaking WiFi Settings

If you're using WiFi, just swap out "ra0" with your actual module name like "wlan0" to get it working properly.

Your CPU Info at a Glance!

You might see something like "O/C @2700MHz" under the CPU info section if that's how yours is set up. You can totally change this text to match your overclocking specs or even delete it if you want—it's totally up to you!

Temperature Monitoring Made Easy

If you want to show the CPU and case temperatures, make sure you're using the right config line based on what your sensors output.
