Description
TransLT
TransLT is a handy application suite that comes packed with four cool tools for working with reference coordinate systems. These tools can help you calculate parameters, transform coordinates, draw polygons in Google Earth, and even convert coordinate files to different formats!
Easy Installation Process
The setup might take a little time, but don't worry—it doesn't require any customization preferences. One thing to note is that you can't skip installing any of the four components. But on the bright side, everything is wrapped up in a user-friendly interface that's super easy to navigate.
Working with Coordinates
You get two pages to manipulate coordinates. You can type data manually or load it from external files. Once you've got your data, you can edit and export it to Microsoft Word or Excel! Plus, there's a basic text search function that lets you change renumbering modes and swap columns around easily.
Calculating Transformations
Next up, you can calculate transformations for height (1D), in plane (2D), or even in space (3D). Just choose your transformation mode—like 3D plane rotation or translating to elevation—load your common points, and let the program do its magic by finding the best combination from the points you select. You can view these points in either 2D or 3D graphical formats!
Edit Entities for Google Draw
With TransLT, loading entities from external files is a breeze! You can choose the entity type and edit details like number, description, area, perimeter, color, opacity, and line width. The same goes when you're drawing polygons in Google Earth.
User-Friendly Conversion Tool
The conversion tool included in TransLT is super straightforward. It lets you open files with various extensions (.txt, .coo, .xyz, .geo, .csv), pick your transformation model and even apply reverse transformations if needed. Plus, you can set the output file extension for your new coordinates.
Customize Your Preferences
You have plenty of options with TransLT! Select favorite coordinate reference systems and operations; edit ellipsoids; adjust geographic coordinates order; change CSV delimiters; clean empty rows; fix decimal values when saving; choose encoding modes; view reports in plain text or HTML format—the list goes on!
No Stability Issues Found!
In our tests of TransLT, we didn’t hit any stability problems at all! The utility ran smoothly without hanging or crashing while using minimal CPU and memory resources.
A Great Choice for Users!
If you're looking for a feature-rich yet easy-to-use application suite for handling coordinates effectively—TransLT should definitely meet most users’ needs!
