System Requirements

If you want to make sure everything runs smoothly with TubeMaster++, you'll need a couple of things:

• Java SE Runtime Environment (JRE)


• Java SE Development Kit (JDK)


• LibPcap (Installed by default)


• JPcap Library

Just make sure that "libjpcap.so" is in the "/usr/lib" directory. If it's not there, just move it over!

Installing FFMpeg & FFPlay

You’ll also need FFMpeg with FFPlay:

• For Debian/Ubuntu:




• Run Command: apt-get install ffmpeg






• FFMpeg Libraries: Run Command: apt-get install libavcodec-unstripped-52





• For RedHat/Fedora:




• Install RPMFusion Software Provider: Link here!.






• Run Command: yum install ffmpeg





• For Mandrake:




• You might run into issues with missing libraries if you use the command: urpmi ffmpeg. Make sure to install FFMpeg with "libxvid" and "libmp3lame".
