*This theme is tested and designed specifically for Ubuntu 11.04 ONLY.*

Customizing Your Experience

The Ubuntu Fitts Ambiance theme is meant for use with Ubuntu 11.04, so I’ve changed the panel background to solid black to match the Unity panel nicely. If you’re using GNOME, just rename panel2.png to panel.png in the theme's img folder. For those using Unity, it’s a good idea to set your Unity panel opacity to 0.67 using the Compiz Unity plugin for a smoother look.

How to Install It

If you want to install this theme:

• Right-click on your desktop and choose Change Desktop Background.


• Select the first tab labeled Themes.


• Drag and drop the theme’s archive into the Appearance Preferences window.


• If everything’s good, you'll see a confirmation message, and you can simply activate it by clicking on it.
