Easy Installation Process

You’ll be happy to know that installing the web2ldap software is super simple! Just make sure you have all its dependencies first. Download the latest version to your Home directory, then use an archive manager to extract everything from the archive.

Paving the Way for Setup

When you extract the files, put them in the /opt directory (you'll need root access for this—so think sudo!). Rename the folder from /opt/web2ldap-1.2.11 to /opt/web2ldap. Then, don't forget to edit the configuration modules located in the [web2ldapdir]/etc/web2ldap/web2ldapcnf/ folder.

Running Your Server Smoothly
