Description

XRDCALC

XRDCALC is a handy CAD application designed to help you dive into X-ray diffraction. This method is great for analyzing the crystal structure of different materials, whether they're minerals, metals, alloys, or even organic and inorganic substances. It's especially useful in fields like mining and chemistry.

X-ray Diffraction Made Easy

To get started with your analysis, you'll need to import powder diffraction data from sources like RRuff, Sietronics, or ScanPI files. But don't worry; it's pretty straightforward!

User-Friendly Interface

The tool has a clean interface that lets you work with multiple spreadsheets at once. You can easily import data from various formats like CSV, TXT, CPI, DAT, or RRUFF. If you prefer, you can even enter the info manually in a new spreadsheet!

Exporting Your Data

When it comes to sharing your findings, XRDCALC has got you covered! You can print your information or save it in XRC, TXT, or CSV formats. Plus, it can generate graphs that help visualize mineral powder diffraction data. You can export these graphs to BMP format or just copy them directly to your clipboard.

Editing Features Galore

You've got plenty of editing options too! Copying, cutting, and pasting cells is a breeze. You can insert or delete rows as needed and even find and replace data quickly. Sorting by two-theta values, d-spacing, intensity, or crystal names is super easy!

Quantitative Analysis Made Simple

You can carry out quantitative analysis using the area under peaks and plot two-theta and d-spacing against intensity stick plots. It allows you to extract peaks from scan files and convert intensity to percentage operations effortlessly.

Built-In Mineral Database

An awesome feature is that you can assign colors to crystals or switch to automatic mode for searching/matching with the built-in mineral database using digital scan files. If you're feeling hands-on instead of automated, there's also a manual mode available!

Comprehensive Calculations

You can calculate two-theta values from d-spacings (and vice versa), set up standard column headings in your spreadsheet, adjust radiation types used in calculations - all while exploring the built-in Mineral XRD Database that includes over 3700 minerals along with their strongest d-spacings.

Your Go-To Tool for Professionals

In short, XRDCALC packs an impressive suite of features perfect for performing quantitative analysis. It's especially tailored for professional users who need reliable tools at their fingertips.
