How to Build:


To build Xsnow, follow these steps:



  1. xmkmf

  2. make depend

  3. make



How to Run:


To run Xsnow, use the following commands:



  1. ./xsnow

  2. or

  3. ./xsnow& (in the background)



Installation:


To install Xsnow as root, execute:



  1. make install

  2. make install.man



Additional Compilation Steps:


If xmkmf does not work, compile Xsnow using the following command:


cc -o xsnow snow.c -lXext -lX11 -lXpm -lm -lsocket -lnsl
