yoshinoCALC
yoshinoCALC is a free scientific calculator that's pretty similar to Microsoft's PowerToy Calc. If you're looking for a handy tool to tackle math problems, this might just be what you need!
How It Was Made
Creating this software wasn't too tricky for me. I had already put together an algorithm to handle math expressions for another free tool called yoshinoGRAPH. So, after whipping up a dll named EvaluateExpression.dll using that algorithm, I was able to use it for yoshinoCALC.
User-Friendly Features
What's cool about yoshinoCALC is that users can easily switch between different view modes—like "History" or "Conventional"—without having to close the app! This makes it super convenient depending on how you like to work.
Simple Summation Made Easy
The third feature, called "Column View," really shines when you need to add up numbers. You won't even have to open Excel just for a quick summation! It simplifies your calculations right in the app.
