Getting Started with Active Users

So, how do you get going with Active Users? First off, you'll need to log in with your Google account and give the app permission to connect to your Google Analytics. Once you're all set up, the app automatically pulls in info about the live traffic across all of your websites and displays it right there in the menu.

View Traffic by Website

You can check out active users for each individual site or see a total count for all the sites linked to your account. Plus, you have the option to show or hide the user counter in your status bar icon, depending on what you prefer!

User Details and Traffic Maps

Each website listed in Active Users comes with its own little panel. This panel shows details about who’s visiting and even includes a map that shows where that traffic is coming from. How cool is that?

Customize Your Preferences

If you want more control over how things work, check out the Active Users Preferences window! Here, you can enable auto-adjustments for map regions and set refresh rates for both the menu bar and dashboard metrics.
