Description
adx
adx is a totally free and open-source web-enabled address book. You can easily call phone numbers with just a click, like using Skype! It also helps you find addresses using Google Maps, tags your contacts, and even supports Microformats like hCard and XFN. Plus, it keeps track of all your online accounts.
Portable and Simple
This little tool is super portable. You can use it anywhere you have a browser or even just a text file viewer—no installation needed! There's no need for any browser plugins or server components either. Adx is made up of just two files: an XML file for the data and an XSLT file that transforms everything into HTML right in your web browser.
How Does it Work?
Here’s how it works: the address book (that’s the XML file) gets transformed by the XSLT file into HTML so you can view it easily in your browser.
Supports Multiple Platforms
adx supports a ton of platforms! You can connect with services like Skype, Twitter, Delicious, MySpace, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and many more. It's designed to work with all those sites you love.
