Agilian Standard Portable

Agilian Standard Portable is a practical and straightforward application intended for users who need to align business strategies, objectives and information system in a more intuitive environment using key standards such as Business Motivation Model (shortly known as BMM), Zachman Framework or decision table.

Being developed as an enterprise architecture utility, Agilian Standard Portable supports various diagrams such as SysML, ERD, UML or mind mapping.

Using this program, you can let stakeholders or other users view different parts of an enterprise architecture and analyze all the requirements and specifications that correspond with their responsibilities and interests. Moreover, you can identify and design organization's vision, mission and strategy by drawing BMM diagrams.

After you launch the application, you are required to set a workspace directory where all your projects and settings will be stored. Then, you can design as many diagrams as you want and present them to your colleagues.

The left panel displays all the available diagrams such as UML and SysML and allows you to generate reports, create new brainstorms or insert new actors or Use Case grids.

What’s more, the SoaML diagrams help SOA modelers to describe the use of various services in systems architecture. Because these diagrams contain unique elements, they can be used to create business relevant services so you can easily identify corporation strategies.

In case you want to visualize and document the behavior of a system, you can create Use Case diagrams, which can be accessed from the UML section placed in the main toolbar. Also, you must be aware that the left panel displays different objects for each diagram. This way, in case you want to create a Requirement diagram, classes such as actors and systems are not included.

Since Agilian Standard Portable supports conceptual, logical and physical data modelling, you are able to create ERD (Entity relationship diagram) as well. Simply drag the objects that suit your needs and connect them with one-to-one, one-to-many or many-to-many relationships, then use these diagrams if you want to visualize conceptual data structure and physical database schema.

Another important feature that the application comes with, namely ‘Team Collaboration’ allows users to work in parallel on a structured platform. Navigate to the Teamwork menu, access the proper option then select the repository you want to log into.

Overall, Agilian Standard Portable is a professional and comprehensive application where business process modelling and UML diagrams combine each other in a convenient way.
