Amidst

Amidst (Advanced Minecraft Interface and Data/Structure Tracking) is a great tool if you want to make your Minecraft experience even better! With Amidst, you can see a map of your world based on the seed. It shows you where things like spawn points, NPC villages, witch huts, deep oceans, Nether fortresses, and more are located—all with handy coordinates!

Getting Started with Amidst

To use Amidst, you'll need to have Minecraft installed and an unmodded profile ready to go. When you start it up, it automatically detects which version of Minecraft you're using. You can view an overview of the map by entering a seed number or just load it randomly.

Exploring Your Map

The map generates quickly so you can check out the spawn point and see color-coded regions or special areas like NPC villages and desert temples. You can even hover over objects to learn what they are! Zooming in and out is easy too, plus panning around lets you navigate the map smoothly. Don’t forget to click the pencil button in the lower-right corner to highlight different biomes!

Handy Shortcuts

You’ll love the shortcuts available in Amidst! Jump to any location using coordinates or head straight to world spawn or any stronghold quickly. If some layers get crowded, you can hide them so others are easier to spot. Besides generating flat worlds, Amidst gives you overviews for flat areas as well as large biomes.

Taking Screenshots and More

If you find a map seed that catches your eye, copy it right to your clipboard for use in-game! Taking screenshots is also a breeze if you want to save those moments or share them with friends. Plus, switching between multiple Minecraft profiles is simple!

A Few Limitations

Just keep in mind that saved games modified with tools like MCEdit won’t show up accurately in Amidst. Also, this tool isn't made for locating individual blocks or mobs like animals or diamond ore.
