Anchorium

Anchorium is a cool, simple app for OS X that acts like the Google crawling bot. It shows you all the results right in its main window so you can analyze everything easily. This means you can check out all your inbound links and tweak things to boost your spot on Google’s search result pages.

How to Use Anchorium

Using Anchorium is pretty straightforward! In the main window, just type in the URL you want to check out and decide how deep you want it to follow those links. There’s a handy Filters panel where you can choose what to do with 404 pages, noindex pages, or canonical documents. It really puts you in control!

Monitoring the Parsing Process

Once everything's set up, kick off the parsing process! You can keep an eye on it through the Progress panel. Anchorium shows you how many pages it's scanned so far, how many URLs are still waiting, and which link it’s working on at that moment.

Stopping and Resuming Scans

If you need to take a break from scanning, no worries! Anchorium lets you stop and then pick up right where you left off later—even if you've closed the app. In fact, there’s an Open Project panel that keeps track of all your projects so you can analyze scan results anytime.

Your Results Are Ready!

After scanning is done, you'll see a list of all the pages found on your website along with links pointing to each one. Everything is laid out in list mode, but keep in mind that exporting data isn’t an option here.
