Aquarium is a fun simulator that enables you to create a virtual fish tank that includes more than 40 different fish species and corals that you get to combine any way you like. Finding your way around is relatively intuitive, but the simulator has quite limited capabilities.

Within the Aquarium universe, you start with an algae filled water tank that can be quickly scrubbed down with simple mouse movements. The next step is to start adding fish species: in the Aquarium fish library, just click on a particular species, and you will see it appear in the tank.

Note that you can add as many fishes as you like, but you should also take into consideration the available space. If you added too many specimens, while the fish library is visible, just tap with your mouse the ones you want to remove from the tank.

Aquarium also integrates a coral reefs library that enables you to change the tank’s aspect. You get to add as many corals as you like, but keep in mind that you cannot change their position in the reservoir.

Other customization options include the possibility to see air bubbles in the aquarium, or to select the background music (Aquarium comes with 5 relaxing tracks).

When you are satisfied with the result, you can switch the Aquarium window to full-screen mode, but the app’s buttons bar remains visible at all times.

Worth mentioning is that Aquarium does not preserve the tanks design between sessions: once you quit the app the current tank design is lost, and you must start over next time. What's more, you can start over any time you like, without having to restart the simulator.
