Easy Setup and Scanning

When you fire up the Asset UPnP app, it automatically scans your Music folder and starts streaming right away. In the main window, you can check out how many tracks and albums you've got. Plus, if you ever add more songs or albums, just hit the rescan button whenever you want.

Server-Side Only

A little heads-up: Asset UPnP only manages the server side of things. So, to access your music library from other devices on the network, you'll need a client app on those devices.

No Connection Hassles

The best part? You don't have to worry about complicated connection settings! Any UPnP client app should automatically find and connect to your Asset UPnP server without any extra tweaks needed.

Configuration Options

You can specify which folders Asset UPnP should scan for media content in the Configuration panel. It lets you pick if a directory has audio tracks or playlists, so everything is organized just how you like it.

Personalize Your Experience

You also get to customize the browse tree and exclude certain audio types from your library. Want specific formats for streaming? No problem! You can choose that too, apply effects like ReplayGain, and make other adjustments to fit your style.

Asset UPnP also supports browsing popular internet radio stations and even working with dynamic playlists. Plus, it allows audio decoding so you can play tracks on devices that don’t support their original format.
