ATI Overclocking Utility is a handy tool designed for overclocking ATI video cards. This version is for 32-bit systems, so keep that in mind!
First things first, you'll need Catalyst 9.3+ to make this work properly since it uses libatiadlxx.so. If you're using Catalyst 9.4, just a heads up—the OverDrive API seems to only support series 4xxx cards, at least on Linux. If you've managed to get this working on an older generation card, please share your experiences!
The user interface (UI) is designed to be pretty straightforward. But here’s a tip about the fan settings: if you leave the checkbox unchecked, it will stick to the "automatic" setting. If you check it, then you'll go into manual mode where you can set it to your preferred percentage.
A word of caution—use this tool wisely! You probably don’t want to turn off the fan and push your overclocking limits all the way up at the same time.
I modified the ADL SDK for this utility, but I can't share the source code because of licensing rules. So right now, I'm just sharing the executable file with everyone.
A big thanks goes out to storma for creating the icon and also to members of the Phoronix forum for testing this app out!
