atmfiler copies or moves files in different locations at once. This is an approachable software application with several advanced settings for all user levels.

The installation procedure is fast and the only notable aspect about it is that you need .NET Framework installed. Administrative privileges are required when launching atmfiler to prevent it from showing errors.

It's wrapped in a user-friendly interface made from a small window split into multiple panes, where you can start and stop all data transfers with one click, set the source and output directories, as well as tinker with program options.

You can add as many folders as you want to copy or move to other locations, include or exclude subfolders, set a delay time, as well as apply wildcards and filter files by extensions. One directory can be transferred to multiple locations. You can instruct the tool to overwrite any existing files, skip them or make new copies, insert a prefix into the file name, or create a date directory.

As far as general settings are concerned, you can install atmfiler as a service to skip UAC, make its frame stay on top of other windows, show a timestamp in the GUI, halt operations on error, modify the default scan interval, description, configuration and service name, as well as specify the logging level.

It didn't hang, crash or prompt error messages in our tests. It left a small footprint on system resources, running on low CPU and RAM. On the other hand, it failed to copy subdirectory contents. Plus, the options spread across the interface aren't intuitive enough to be figured out by inexperienced users, and the interface makes the application seem more complicated than it actually is.

To wrap it up, atmfiler offers a simple solution for synchronizing multiple directories or moving files. However, its interface still needs a lot of work.
