Atraci is a handy desktop app made for YouTube that lets you jam to music or watch videos without filling up your web browser. It has a clean and modern look, plus a super easy search tool to help you find what you want. You can even bring in your playlists!

Easy Browsing for Top Tracks

When you start using Atraci, you can check out the latest top tracks and featured artists on YouTube. Just click on whatever you want to listen to, and it'll start playing right away. At the bottom of the main window, you'll see basic player controls that are easy to navigate. Plus, there's a little panel on the left where you can see the video content.

Viewing Options: Icon or List Mode

You get to choose how you want to view your song list too! Atraci lets you switch between icon mode or list mode based on what you like best. If you're in the mood for a bigger viewing experience, just maximize the video panel! It can fill up most of the Atraci window while still keeping your media player bar visible so that controlling playback is a breeze.

No YouTube Account Needed

The cool thing about Atraci is that it doesn’t require connecting to your YouTube account. This means instant access to all your subscriptions isn't available, but don't worry! You can import playlists using either a YouTube URL or an Atraci playlist file.

Playlist Import Issues

However, there's a bit of a hiccup when it comes to large playlists. Atraci only imports the first 25 entries instead of everything. Also, trying to import playlists from an Atraci-generated file hasn't worked out so well either.

No Ads and Simple Playback

Atraci does let you enjoy music and videos from YouTube without needing a web browser at all! It automatically blocks ads for you too, making listening much more enjoyable. Just keep in mind that while playback is simple, importing playlists can be tricky sometimes and the interface might lag.
