Awa (formerly Enchat)

Awa is a handy app that lets you chat with your friends on Facebook Messenger without having to deal with the clutter of a web browser. Instead of opening up a tab every time, you can use Awa as a standalone OS X application. This makes it much easier to keep track of your conversations!

Getting started with Awa is super simple. Just enter your Facebook login info, and you’re all set! You can check out past chats or jump right into new ones. Plus, whenever someone messages you, Awa sends alerts straight to your Notification Center. You’ll even see how many unread messages you have right on the Awa Dock icon.

Awa lets you handle both one-on-one chats and group conversations easily. Want to share images, audio files, or documents? Just drag and drop them into the chat window! You can even capture screenshots with the built-in tool to share what's on your screen.

Compact Mode for Convenience

When you make the window smaller, Awa switches to compact mode automatically. In this mode, you'll only see each contact's avatar image—keeping things neat and tidy!

You can easily adjust the size of the Awa window by dragging it with your mouse or using keyboard shortcuts. There’s even a hotkey for starting new conversations so that everything feels quick and convenient.
