Waiting for your first baby to be born offers memorable experiences with ups and downs, extraordinary and beautiful moments in both yours and the partner's lives. The stages from the conception to the first baby steps need to be recorded in a special diary so you can later show them to your kids.

Baby Diary is a sophisticated and intuitive application that comes in handy especially for soon-to-be mothers, to keep track of important details about each individual stage (prenatal, delivery, first steps, celebrations) of the children lives, as well as enter relevant information about body measurements and birthdays. The interface is straightforward and user-friendly that comes with a standard toolbar with all the necessary tools, general info about a particular baby, along with a tree structure and a picture viewer.

Baby Diary offers an example of how the entries look like, to easily get familiarized with the menu and how it works. To add a new record, simply access the menu and fill in the required fields, like full name, date of birth, first kicking time, gender, as well as weight, length, mother's pregnancy date and image (ICO, BMP, EMF, WMF)

For each category, you can enter as many notes as you need that contain personal descriptions, pictures, videos and audio recordings. Plus, the app lets you insert growth parameters for each child, which are displayed in a structured list with the date and approximate age, minimum and maximum values, and gained kilograms.

Despite all the handy features, Baby Diary is poorly designed with little functions and an outdated layout. Could have offered more detailed fields, like mother blood type, delivery type, doctor and hospital name, along with a broad range of supported images, gained and emerging skills, and medicine administration. You can back up and restore the database to a safe location on the computer.

Taking everything into account, Baby Diary is an accessible and simple utility designed to offer basic options to keep track of your baby's information, prenatal history, the delivery and first steps in the child's life.
