To protect the sensitive information that your PDF files contain, it might be a good idea to encrypt them and assign them a password. While password protection is usually available in popular PDF editors, there are also dedicated software tools that are easier to use, allowing you to encrypt documents in batch mode with just a few clicks.

Batch PDF Encryptor is one example that has caught our attention due to its capability to carry out batch operations and impose printing and text copying restrictions to PDF files.

Following a quick and streamlined setup process, Batch PDF Encryptor reveals an overly simple interface that comprises all the settings into a single window. In essence, once you set up the encryption mode, all you have to do is drag and drop the PDF files you want to encrypt, and the process starts immediately.   There are two different modes Batch PDF Encryptor works in. The first allows it to assign a single password for all the input PDF documents. Choosing this mode requires you to choose an owner password and a password for opening the document.

As an alternative, Batch PDF Encryptor can assign a random password to each loaded PDF file. You also get to choose the owner password and set the length of the random password, but that is it. The list of generated passwords is saved in a CSV file and a TXT file for you to view.

Regardless of the password protection mode you choose, Batch PDF Encryptor can set printing restrictions, text copying restrictions, both or none. The latter case disables the owner password, since there is no point setting it.

The only other setting to configure is the output path. Simply select a folder or create a new one to host all the encrypted PDF files.

Batch PDF Encryptor streamlines PDF encryption in batch mode, allowing you to secure your data and text without a lot of hassle. It is capable of assigning passwords to documents, set printing and copying restrictions, and also generate random passwords that are more difficult to break. It is a quick and efficient solution for batch encrypting PDF files.
