What is Bazarr?

Bazarr works alongside Sonarr and Radarr to help you grab and manage those subtitles effortlessly. It’s like having a personal assistant for your subtitle needs!

Getting Started with Bazarr

Now, I won’t lie—setting up Bazarr does take some initial effort. If you’re confused at any point, don’t worry! You can check out the installation guide on their homepage for some extra help. After you’ve got everything set up, you only have to do it once. Bazarr will automatically handle all the new media files moving forward.

How Does It Work?

Once installed, Bazarr scans your media library to find any local subtitles and checks them against external sources. If it spots any missing files, it’ll download them for you without any extra work needed on your part. You can also look back at what subtitles were grabbed or updated by visiting the History section.

Manual Search Options

If there’s ever a time when Bazarr doesn’t find or update the subtitle for something you want to watch, no worries! You can manually search for the subtitles yourself as an option.

A Variety of Sources

You’ll be pleased to know that Bazarr pulls from tons of subtitle sources, including popular ones like Subscene, OpenSubtitles.org, and YIFI Subtitles. Plus, it supports around 184 different subtitle languages! Whether you're looking for forced or foreign subtitles, there's plenty to choose from depending on what's available.
