BCM Call Logger
BCM Call Logger is a super easy app that helps you pull info from your BCM phone systems and whip up reports. After gathering this data, you can export it to a database file that works with Microsoft Access for a closer look.
Quick Setup
Getting this tool up and running is pretty quick! Just make sure your computer has the .NET Framework installed; otherwise, it won’t work. The interface is straightforward and user-friendly, using a wizard that walks you through each step.
Create Your Database
You can kick things off by creating a new database in MDB format. Later on, you can open it up to fill in fresh data. If you're into advanced settings, you can customize the connection string and pick between OLEDB or ODB as your connection type.
Log File Management
In the next step of the wizard, you’ll decide where to save those log files. Once that's done, you'll land on the main app window where you can check out the calls logged by BCM Call Logger. It even gives you quick stats like total calls logged, files parsed, and the time for incoming and outgoing calls.
Processing Calls
You’ve got options! In the "Process Call Data" tab, you can manually handle files. Plus, you get to set your favorite log file format (like auto, Norstar All / CLID, Norstar Real Time, SL-1) and date format (auto, US, UK).
Selecting Time Periods & Reports
You can choose different time periods too—whether it's all dates available or just last month—or set a specific range. You also get to filter call types: incoming only, outgoing only, or both! There are four report types to create: overview, extension summary, line summary, and call detail.
