Beat Counter is a super easy-to-use app for Mac OS X that helps you figure out the beats per minute (BPM) of your favorite songs. It does this by analyzing the tracks using smart algorithms. This way, you’ll know which files were processed successfully and how many BPM values were exported—or if any files couldn't be analyzed.

Supported Files

A little heads up: Beat Counter can only analyze files that iTunes can decode. So, if a song has Apple's Digital Rights Management protection on it, this app won't work its magic on those tracks.

You’ve got some options too! You can tweak settings like algorithm quality and background brightness. Plus, there’s even a way to set a custom background image or change how many analyses run at once.
