Better Password

Better Password is a simple-to-use application that can generate secure passwords on the spot. It's practical for increasing the security of your email accounts and wireless networks by changing the existing keys to safer ones, made not from dictionary-based words but from random combinations of characters.

This tool is compatible with Windows 8, 8.1 and 10. It's wrapped in a Modern UI, which means that the main window is large and has big buttons that are hard to miss (optimized for touch-supported devices). Generally, Modern UI apps are more intuitive than desktop programs, and this is certainly the case of Better Password.

All options are displayed in the window at startup. How it works is that the application generates a random password every time you click the Create password button, which you can write down somewhere safe.

As far as password strength options are concerned, you can set the code's length (number of characters, ranging from 5 to 15) by clicking and dragging a slider, as well as include or exclude special characters by clicking a slider button.

Special characters are represented by symbols that can be found on most keyboards. If you exclude them, then the program will only use small and big letters, along with numbers. Even without the symbols, your password will be very secure.

If you ask the tool to create long passwords, make sure to switch to full screen mode (click the first button on the upper-right corner of the window) to view all of it.

Unfortunately, there is no option implemented for easily copying the resulted password to the Clipboard. Also, the tool cannot generate two or more keys at the same time.

All things considered, Better Password offers a quick and easy method of creating secure passwords immediately.
