Strategy games are some of the most popular video game types and they usually require you to recruit/manage troops, then lead them to victory against the opposing faction. Biofilm Attack takes things one step further and replaces normal troops with different types of bacterium.

Biofilm Attack includes a campaign mode with 18 different missions you need to complete. It also provides 15 quick play maps that you can start at any time. The game gives you a large variety of maps and game modes, in order to make sure that you won't get bored while playing.

The first thing you'll notice when starting a new game is surely the graphics. While not that great, they suit the game's theme and idea perfectly. Your main objective while playing a map is to defeat the enemy using the bacteria units at your disposal. Usually, the opponent outnumbers you, so there is a need for strategic and fast thinking if you want to win. There are six bacteria unit types that you can use to create your winning strategy.

You can move your units just like in a normal strategy game. All you need to do is select the unit/units you want to maneuver, and then right click on the area you want to move them to.

After completing a map or losing all your cells you can view the game statistics. There are individual statistics for both players, which display how much units were created and lost during the battles.

Biofilm Attack comes with a very simple Options menu, which enables you to change the enemy difficulty to easier/regular/harder, depending on your needs. It also allows you to turn the zoom in on cursor location option on/off. Biofilm Attack also includes an original soundtrack that will keep the adrenalin pumping while playing.

In conclusion, Biofilm Attack is a rather unique and interesting game that puts your strategic thinking to the test in a large number of scenarios.
