BioShock is a highly complex shooter game that also integrates elements of role playing and adventure games.

The action takes place in the city of Rapture, an amazing underwater city that once was the home of brave scientists, industrialists and artists that knew no boundaries.

The Rapture idealistic society had no moral ties, eliminated all kinds of censorship and made sure that the weak would not put a stop to their imaginations. Everything was possible if you had the courage to grasp it.

Unfortunately, something went wrong and when the main character crashes its plane in the ocean and descends to the underwater city, the sight is dreadful. Rapture is full of corpses, genetically modified citizens and girls that loot the dead.

The storyline places the main character in the year 1960 and comes with intricate and provocative situations that will keep you involved. The overall effect of the game is both frightening and entertaining. You will find interesting puzzles but also amusing situations.

The BioShock’s environment is quite creepy and, thanks to the amazing visual effects and art deco design, you will find yourself fully committed to the storyline. The beautiful 1940s and 1950s music and the voice acting also contribute to the realistic atmosphere.

BioShock incorporates ideas about society, science and politics, raising questions about humanity in general, morality and the greater good.

As you explore the city you will learn more about what went wrong and make your own decisions in order to successfully complete the game.
