BitNami JRubyStack

BitNami JRubyStack is an installer that lets users simplify the way they install BitNami JRuby Sample Application and all of its required dependencies by bundling all the commponents within a pack and deploying them all at once.

JRuby is an implementation of the Ruby programming language, the only difference is that it's 100% pure-Java. It provides the end user with a complete set of core classes and syntax for the Ruby programming language, but also most of Ruby's Standard Libraries.

BitNami JRubyStack contains various applications that are ready to run shortly after installing such as Apache Tomcat, JRuby, Java, MySQL and Subversion. The BitNami JRuby Sample Application contains a management tool that can help users access various components without significant efforts by simply selecting them from the window.

After launching the manager component, users can access the application, manage servers and view server-related events by clicking the corresponding tabs. The "Manage Servers" tab enables users to view a list of servers along with their operational status and start, stop, restart or configure them.

Configuring a server lets users set their access, AJP, Shutdown and SSL ports, open their access and error logs as well as open their "CONF" file without considerable efforts.
