Description
BlackHawk
BlackHawk is a web browser that runs on Chromium. It’s got cool features like tabbed browsing, extensions, and developer tools. If you’re already used to Google Chrome, you’ll find BlackHawk super easy to pick up!
Features of BlackHawk
This browser lets you show the current page in an Internet Explorer-based tab and check out page ranks. You can find these options right next to the search bar with two handy icons. Plus, if you log in using your Gmail account, it automatically brings over all your Chrome settings into BlackHawk.
Extension Compatibility
Now, here’s a little catch: BlackHawk doesn’t come with its own extensions. Instead, it only supports those made for Google Chrome. We tried testing its navigation speed and honestly didn’t notice any real difference when compared to Chrome. However, we did face some error messages while trying to install a few extensions.
Performance and Resources
When it comes to performance, BlackHawk uses a moderate amount of CPU and system memory—so it’s pretty similar to Chrome and Firefox on that front. It responds quickly and even has a short help guide for those who might be new to browsing.
Is BlackHawk Worth It?
While BlackHawk might not stand out against some of the more popular browsers out there, it could be worth checking out if you're looking for something different. If you want to give it a try or download it now, just click here.
